Peter Nolan, an artist filled with light and spirit, has been creating art through various mediums for over fifty years. After being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2015, Peter continues to manifest his art despite physical challenges, however, to a limited extent. Recently, he has created pencil renderings that will soon be available for purchase through his website. Strong in will and faith, Peter hopes to continue creating new art.
From 1968 to 1982 he studied art at State University of New York in Farmingdale, as well as Old Dominion University and Norfolk State University, both in Virginia. Throughout Peter’s education and art practice, he was inspired to use art as a therapy, and in the early 1980’s, his work became more ethereal in nature.
Peter's artwork is available on canvas, giclée prints, and framed giclée prints, as well as custom greeting cards. The paintings by Peter Nolan are a sublime meditative movement towards the divine. His art has no borders - the flow of light isn't confined to a three-dimensional space, but transcends the noise and dross of the Earth and astral plane. The angles rejoice.

I am so happy to have come across the incredibly talented and spiritually connected artwork of Peter Nolan.
Peter's loving heart and spiritual gifts come alive on the canvas. I've purchased two of his unique and energetically fulfilling paintings, and have hung them in both my office and home.

Peter Nolan's paintings are translucent layers of artistic grace. They delight the eyes and the spirit. They expand any room they are placed in. Brilliantly created!
